The 12 Days of Christmas...In July...and Some Summer Randomness

Hey y'all!  Thanks so much for linking up for the last couple of linky parties!  It's been so much fun going back through your old posts and reading to find out what everybody's been pinning!  LOVE IT!!!!

Since the rest of this post is going to be pretty random, I'm linking up with my sweet friend, Michelle, over at Fabulous in First for her Sunday Smorgasbord.

This past week has been wildly busy for our little family of four.  We've been visiting family in Indiana & Michigan!  If you've been following me on Instagram, you already know that we stopped by Duck Commander on our way up North.  SO sad there weren't any Uncle Si sightings, but we did leave with some pretty classic little souvenirs ;)

My oldest turned 6 y'all.  SIX.  Ohmiword.  Kindergarten here he comes!  We spent the morning taking family pictures and then headed out to the movie theater to watch Monster's University {too cute, by the way!}

Speaking of family pics, if you live in the NE Indiana area, you MUST check out Erin Photography!  I've seen the pictures and I'm floored!  Absolutely breathtaking!  Anyone who can make my kids smile...at the same time...while looking INTO the camera...is an absolute HERO in my book!

One of the best things about blogging is the amazing friendships I've made.  Hands down, these are some of the sweetest, most genuine people you'll ever meet.  I got to spend some QT with these sweet girls  a few days ago and it was the most refreshing time I've had in a while!  I just love these girls to pieces!  This is the first time I met Katie {Queen of the 1st Grade Jungle} IRL and she's just as darling and sweet in person as she is on her blog.  Although we all talk quite often, it was non-stop chit chat and laughter for 6 hours straight! Lunch in Dayton with my some of my blogging besties has become one of my favorite summertime traditions...3 years strong!

We headed to visit the rest of our family in Michigan for the 4th and we're still here enjoying every little bit of family time we can get before our big drive back down south.  We're not ready to say goodbye just yet!!!!

Now if that wasn't random, I don't know what is!

In other news, I'm teaming up with some of my best friends to bring you Christmas in July!  12 days of Christmas in July to be exact.

To find out today's deal, head on over to visit me on FB

Instead of posting a new deal every day here on the blog, I'll be posting them on The First Grade Parade FB page instead, so make sure you "like" it to get the inside scoop!!

Check out these fabulous ladies for more Christmas in July deals, too!!!!

  4. Cara... I'll bet you were close to me this week! I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana... and when you mentioned NE Indiana, I got excited! There aren't many active bloggers around me...that I've been able to find anyways! I'm totally looking into that photographer! Sounds like you've had a whirl-wind week! Gotta love those! Packed with memories!
