I don’t really have a “plants dance” to share with you, but the words rhymed and I’m all about “catchy”, so I went with it. Happy Sunday, friends! Can you even believe Easter is next week?! Where’d the time go?!?! I have NO idea, but I’m not complaining! This just means we’re a little closer to summer! Woot!! Speaking of Easter, I’m home today and my laminator *might* need to be replaced after all the use it’s been getting this weekend! HA! Here’s what I’m prepping….
What do you have in store for the week?!!?
This past week, we learned ALL about plants!!!!! And I don’t want to rub it in or anything, but the weather here was PERFECT for our little unit of learning! Spring is DEFINITELY in the air! Here’s a little picture walk through our week!!
Whew!!! It was quite the week!! Now to get ready for the week ahead! An egg scramble, Easter party, Kite Day, and a science experiment! Ohmiword. I think I need Starbuck’s on speed dial! Have a GREAT rest of the weekend!!!
You have so many great ideas! We're studying plants after Spring Break, beginning of April. Thank you so much for sharing the plant graph. So cute!

Amazing as usually! I love all your beautiful plant ideas and will be using them in the upcoming weeks when we do our plant study. Thanks for the freebie! My kids love when we graph as a class! If you laminator breaks ask your hubby to fix it. My fiancé has fixed my laminator twice now and it is back in action!

ReplyDeleteWe do plants very soon.. thanks for the ideas!! Teach me to draw.. pretty please :)
ReplyDeleteI love all your ideas!!! We had to give up our plants unit to 2nd grade. I would love to put all our your ideas to use. I am jealous that you have your own laminator. It seems like I am always standing at the laminator at school. Enjoy your week! I am on spring break and cannot wait to sleep in every day. :)

For the Love of First Grade
We will be studying parts of plants soon and this is absolutely perfect! But I'm going to have to echo Lindsay. Last week's Texas weather was wonderful, but what is up this week?! BRRR COLD! I'm sure glad we have recess at 1:30 so there is time for it to warm up! Looking forward to wearing shorts! I will need to spend 2 weeks outside tanning before then though! haha! I've got pasty white winter legs!

I LOVE your anchor charts...they are always creative and your drawings are so cute!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas! What program do you use to make your stuff?? I've played with a few but can't seem to find one that I love! Just wondering what your fave is!

You are just too amazing and creative. Seriously, Cara...WOWzers. Your "terrible" drawing of the plant graph is 150x better than anything I could do!!! Your Flower Friends craftivity is precious.
ReplyDeleteWe did a fun scavenger hunt before our Easter break. We made a plant to eat. My kiddos adored it. I will send it to you so be sure and check your email. =)
You love!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your plants resource! We attempted to graph our favorite plants as well, and I used your printables. My kids loved it!
