Teachers are a crazy bunch, aren't we?! We get two weeks off for the holidays and still want MORE time off!! HA! I know I'm not the only one wishing for another week?!?! Am I ?!?! I still haven't taken down the Christmas decor...done ANY laundry...gone grocery shopping for the week...cleaned {dear Lord it's bad}...planned for the upcoming week...or anything of importance. My break was used for just that...a BREAK!!!! As usual, I've saved everything for the very last minute because procrastination is what I do best. Now it's time to get back to the proverbial grind. I'm excited to see my kids. I'm even more excited that tomorrow is a "planning day" and we won't get the kids 'til Tuesday. I need time to get ready for my babies!
I told y'all all about my ONE resolution this new year...being happy. Well...one thing that's got me all giddy are my C. Jayne Teach goodies!!! I am so HAPPY to *try* and stay organized the rest of this school year! Like I said before...I always start real strong, but I fizzle somewhere along the way. I'm so excited to have all these organizational goodies to try and keep me on track! Aren't they just AMAZING?!?!?!?
I'm a crosser-offer. I like being able to write it out and cross it off. This To-Do Checklist is dreamy.
And I'm a little obsessed with my Paper Tray. It fits all kinds of papers just perfectly!
And let's not forget the Teacher Anchor!! I am OBSESSED!!!! What teacher doesn't love a planner?!?!?
I've already got my Desk Pad on my desk and ready to use.
And this is just plain fun!!! How stinkin' cute is this Flag Clipboard!?!?
So yes. We might have to start back tomorrow, but I'm starting back in style ;) At least I'm trying to anyway!! HA!!
Now it's off to pick up my boys from my parents' and head to the grocery store. I LOATHE the grocery store. I want to hire someone to do it all for me. For real. This does NOT make me happy, but eating does, so I guess I'll go ;)
For those of you that asked, my January Write the Room packet is posted and on sale for today only! Sorry to have posted it so late. Like I said, my break was genuinely a BREAK from everything!! You can check out all the details and grab it HERE or click on either of the pics below :)
HAPPY SUNDAY, FRIENDS!!!!!
I did pretty much the same thing over break. I needed the break. Now I'm sitting here trying to plan for the week. At least you get to go back in style. I love all your fun organizational things.

Your write the rooms are AMAZING! And...... CJayne is an organizational genius and one hell of a tour guide!
ReplyDeleteRachelle you are SO sweet! You come back to Nashville soon!!! xoxoxo
DeleteGlad I'm not the only one to wait until the last minute on everything….and YES, I would love another week off. Good luck at the grocery store….I just went and it was busy, but I made it! :) Have a great first week back in 2014!
ReplyDeleteMy first day back is tomorrow and the children are coming back as well. I had to get a lot of things done before we went on break so that I could be ready on Monday. I also used a lot of my break to get ahead on some things such as lesson plans. I do the math plans for my grade level so I have 6 weeks ahead done. I also did the rest of unit 2 and all of unit 3 reading street smart board lessons. Yea that was a lot. So now I can focus on studying the students reading and math data to see what I need to reteach or if I need to differentiate instructions; Have fun on Monday.

I know exactly what you mean about the grocery store!!! I spend hours browsing through the aisles, and then think about how much time I've wasted on my way home. I ended up joining Sam's Club primarily so I can use the "Click n' Pull" option...I search online for the items that I want, click add to cart, and then go there just to pick up my full cart! Lifesaver!

Love your goodies! I absolutely hate the grocery store too. I always put it off to the absolute last minute when there is no food left in the house. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteMy mama (another lover of Christmas decor) says that we have until tomorrow, January 6th, the official end to Christmas. It's Epiphany - the day the Magi visited Baby Jesus. I don't actually celebrate the holiday; however, I do love my decorations! Whatever it takes to keep them up just one more day! :) Good luck with the organizational thing, too!
ReplyDeleteLove the desk pad! I had never heard of C.Jayne Teach until now. You have got me started looking through the site... amazing!
ReplyDeleteThat's so nice you have a day without the kiddos to transition back to school. I wish we had that. Love all of your fun new goodies! I LOVE school supplies!
ReplyDeleteOrganization is the name of the game! You rock it sister!
