Visual Plans…A Peek at My Week!

Happy Labor Day!  Did y’all have a relaxing weekend?!  I sure did!  Mr. Spouse had to put in a few hours for football, but I got to spend lots of QT with the boys.  We said goodbye to my firstborn’s first bed and brought in a brand new bunk bed for the boys to share.  They.are.IN.LOVE.

I spent the day with my family today…mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, seester, and nephew…plus my three boys.  It was the perfect end to a perfect weekend!  And now I’m rested and ready to start another week with my Kinder babies.

We’re hitting the ground running this week with LOTS of name recognition activities and I’m introducing my kids to my most favorite station…Write the Room!!!!  I just posted my September Write the Room Math & Literacy Activities, so if you’re interested just click on either of the pics below to find out more about it.

I’ve still got a few things to laminate and a timeline to help my Kindergartner finish, so without further ado, here’s a little peek at my week!  You can link up with the fabulous Deedee Wills and share yours, too!

You’ll see that my Fridays are WAY different from the rest of the week.  We have a little 45 minute tutoring block built into our day and it’s AMAZING.   We’re also blessed with half groups for guided reading/literacy stations {M-TH} which means that I only have half of my kids {9} for each half group time block.  Again…completely AMAZING.

What program do you use to create your lesson plans? Is it Power Point??
    Thank you so much!!

  2. Hi Cara! I love your blog and TPT store. :) I swear you are super woman and I vow to be as super woman as you one day. I am newly married (just over a year) and have been a first grade teacher in New Jersey for 8 years. I am also an avid House Hunters fan, and I totally caught your episode. LOVE!

I was just curious if you did your blog design yourself, or if you had someone do it for you? I want to make my site a little more eye popping and just wanted to ask advice!

Thanks so much, have a great week (we start today!) and I cannot wait to continue following your blog and TPT.

    Thanks. :)
