Favorite Pins Friday!

Hey y'all!  I know we're all very, VERY sad that sweet Doodle Bugs is taking a {well deserved} break from hosting her weekly Five for Friday.  Hopefully this new little feature...Favorite Pins Friday...will tide you over until she brings it back!

Here's how it works.  Pin like a crazy person through the week {oh wait...is that just me?!?!?} and highlight your favorites every Friday.  Of course, you can post about your favorite teaching related pins, but feel free to post about anything else you pinned, too!!!  I love finding a great new recipe or a something I've never seen before that I just "have to have" :)
The only rule:  please make sure to link back to the ORIGINAL poster and not to Pinterest :)  Please and thankyouverymuch.

Here are my *favorites* from the week...

Favorite TEACHING related pins

The "I'm out of the room" cup from Wizard of Boz.  GENIUS! What a great way to quickly see who's out...especially in the case of  a fire drill!

This idea for helping kids understand the value of coins was such a "why didn't I think of that?!" idea for me! Absolutely LOVE this from Teaching in Progress.

I'm LOVING these "helpers" from Michelle at Fabulous in First.  I already have them printed and ready to go!  Woo hoo!!!!

This is such a FUN idea!  A class mascot!!  I love the way Teaching With a Smile has him help her remember birthdays and other important events...my kids would LOVE it!

My favorite FOODIE pins

This strawberry coconut cake from Mix & Match Mama.  Two of my favorite flavors all wrapped up into one pretty cake.  Yes, please!

These avocado, cream cheese, and salsa pockets from Navy Wife Cook.  YUM!

My favorite FASHION pins

This look from The Ivory Lane.  Obsessed.

These shoes that apparently belong to Rachel Bilson found HERE.  I'm pretty much enamored with any and everything resembling leopard print!

My favorite PRINTABLE pin...

Yep.  Pretty much every day.  I love this print from Evan Nicole Designs on Etsy.  The rest of her store is just as cute, but this...THIS is my favorite!

My favorite QUOTABLE pins

LOVE this scripture...and the print...from Perpetual Grace

Isn't this the truth?!??!  {I've been searching high and low for the original source, but to no avail.  If you know where this came from, please leave me a comment & let me know!}

My favorite FUNNY pins {both from Someecards.com}

I about spit out my latte reading this!  TRUE!!  Caffeine, please!

I don't know why, but I couldn't stop laughing when I read this one!

My favorite HOME DECOR pin

I need these.  Now.  On my bed.  Please.  Zana Products has some other really cute pillowcases, too!

My favorite PRODUCT pin

This tumbler from The Favored Party.  HA!  I need this for my iced tea!

Want to see what else I'm pinning?!  Click HERE to follow the fun on Pinterest!

Now it's your turn to show us some of your favorite pins from the week!!  So finish up your pinning and link up below!

    I've made those salsa pockets...they didn't look quite as neat and tidy as The Navy Wife's, but they sure did taste good!

  37. Love the idea for this linky party! I wanted to share another use for cups in the classroom. My kiddos primarily use them during writing time when they've finished a piece and need/want to read it to me and conference. They put the cup on their desk instead of raising their hand. Then they can go choose an activity from the choice menu and keep busy until I get to them. Once we've met one-on-one, they put their cup away and keep working. This works so well! My red Solo cups don't have cute labels, so I'll have to whip those up for this coming year :)
