Schedule Cards

I love, love, LOVE our First Grade schedule!  There are just the perfect amount of breaks in between subjects that seem to make the days just FLY by!  Sometimes that’s not such a great thing…especially when I’m trying to fit too much into one day!  But after 9 years of teaching, this is, by far, my favorite schedule I’ve had yet!  I created these little schedule cards as a visual for my kids.  That way they aren’t coming up to me every 5 minutes saying, “Is it time for recess yet?”, or “When can we eat lunch!?”, or {my favorite}, “Is it almost time to go home?!”.  Feel free to download a set for yourself, too! Just click on the link below the pic.

  1. I LOVE your cute schedule cards, it is something I've always thought about doing but never actually done it! I want to print them but a few don't apply to my day and there are a few more I would need. Can you tell me how/where you made them and what font you used so I could make some to coordinate with the ones you've made that I can use? If not, I understand. I just found your blog last week and I am IN LOVE! Thank you SOOO much for your willingness to share your cute ideas! I've felt like I'm in such a teaching rut and your blog is going to breathe some life back into my teaching!!!

  2. Question- I use these everyday, and my kids LOVE them---is there any way that I could have the .doc file so that I could make a guidance and spelling one?? I would greatly appreciate it!

  3. Same as the other 2 comments--- Love these, but I need to change a couple if possible? I need a Phonics one, Literacy Stations, and Morning work??

  6. hi,
hate to be a copycat...but i here goes...
i am going to ask you the same question....i need a couple of different ones too:
we are not allowed to "call" them centers anyhoo....they have to be called workstations (a rose by any name is still a rose!)oh well....gotta do what the top dawg wants....
also guided reading...bell work...i understand you can't possibly do this for everyone because that would be a part-time job....but i could make my own if you care to share the doc file.
nevertheless...girl you are the best....many blessings to you for all the work you SHARE without costing me a dime...just my time...
    i appreciate that willingness.
    thanks again,
